Free springs are usually undeveloped, so expect no changing rooms or lifeguards, and check parking rules.

Of the springs with published temperatures, Kızılcahamam Kaplıcaları (Büyük Kaplıca and Küçük Kaplıca) runs hottest, at up to 97-106°F (36-41°C). Water that hot needs short soaks; test it with a hand before you get in.
